Writing Email

In the afternoon when I opened my mail box, I was surprised when I saw a mail from one of the friends who had sent a bulk mail. Instead of bcc, he marked the email ids in cc.
Though this might be just a mistake from his end, but I was shocked as I could witness more than four hundred mail ids. One was that of mine.
Sheer mistake but things went into mayhem.
He might have checked his mail may be later or when few people like me might had shown regret, wherein our email ids was in common display. Further, the mail that he had shared was a forwarded one. The subject column was full of Re/Fwd instead showing clearly the real subject line.
I felt how important it is for everyone of us to have proper understanding of email etiquette. Be it in professional or personal life, we need to understand the significance of mailing anything to anyone. Sometimes I fear, what a mess it is when people share their problems and seek answer for their problems through mail, while they are working in the same firm, talking ill about peer or colleague. Are you aware that your mail can be easily hacked or accessed.
When you shoot a mail, also do remember that things are communication with right intention.
Well emailing has reduced the time of sending and getting reply of the letter but yes Privacy - is at stake. Do remember this.
Think twice before you draft any mail. Even when you write any, read it twice to know whether it would be sensed in the same manner as you wish to serve.
