Say no to GOSSIP

Early Morning when you reach your office and when your friends greet you, instead of passing sweet smile and wishing them, often we start greeting but with regret.
Tiring day, sleepless night, unpalatable food, tantrums of kids at home, tussle between family members or between your better-half...
Oh Lord! give a break for heaven sake...
There is so much of negativism in the body. How do you expect that the things that you would be dealing with will in turn be positive.
You need to demarcate and have clarity in thought so that you can plan for your day and its activity merrily. The moment you step in your office, the split in your persona should be visible. It is utmost important to have different personalities.
At your workplace come relaxed with all positive vibes. Think more of your work and about your performance than back bitching about your friends and family. These can only kill your time. It also effects your efficiency and will hamper your growth. The aggression in you will not allow to move ahead in any sphere of your life.
Step-in with confidence with clarity in mind as such what you are willing to do. Do not start your day with gossip. The beginning hour of your working time should be utilized properly. Do meditate for a while. Think in a fruitful way, what you wish to do for the day.
Gossip can only cut short your effective time. Rather entertainment, it amplifies your pressure and will spoil your day.

Think twice and do avoid GOSSIP

Attitude for Gratitude

On a windy morning of December, I was in a park enjoying so called sunny day by reading a book written by Jeffrey Archer titled - Only time will tell. I was deeply engrossed into the character of the book. I saw a lady gardener who was planting the saplings. She was singing a song in her vernacular language. Though I was not able to understand what she was singing, still her voice was sweet which has attracted my attention. Her joy was immense that could be visibly seen on her simple face. I saw few kids playing barefoot around the lady. They were hardly of five or six years. With a thin shirt and torn sweater, they still had the warmth in their heart that made them play merrily; giving tough challenge to the weather that gave goose bear to others. Though their life could be miserable still there was no regret of the situation in which they lived.
I felt how mean we become when we are educated, start living comfortably, enjoying the luxuries of standard life. We crave for more and wish to have all that is even tough to attain or worthless of achieving. We invest less of efforts and want to reap maximum benefit whereas the deprived ones wish to live heartily certainly with what they have. Greed does not touch their simple and pure heart, nor are they worried at all.
The attitude of gratitude is which they carry made me realize how poor I am, in terms of happiness; I lead a stressful life, struggling hard to maintain and manage my name and fame. To earn more than what I require so that I can expend on my luxuries which actually is of no use.
The kids were happier than me. They knew how to entertain themselves and be the true part of the bounties of life. Their joy was true reward to the creator. In return they shared their gratitude for giving life;
They taught me the greatest lesson of life. To be happy, materialistic wealth can be lethal. In fact the life can be the most beautiful one when we kill the thought of growing materialistically. I realized that my attitude towards life was incorrect.
Well I learnt true attitude for gratitude of what the lord has shared and I am blessed with.

Care and Share

Last night when I was on my way back to home, the chilly winter night made me realize the biggest fact that nature shares equally with all. In its eye, there is equanimity. The greed is in human which in fact is forcing it to drive away from being humane. It is the law of nature, anything in excess can be dangerous. Be it love or food or wealth.
I saw a child of ten years selling bouquet of roses. Barefoot, half naked and rarely covered with warm clothes. The night remains the same for him as well as for me who was a passive observer. Also for the so called blessed person of our society who was driving his luxury car.
When the child had approached with his bouquet to the gentleman in the car, he slowly slithered the window of his car and had exchanged few words with the boy to show-case his knowledge and power of purchasing at good cost.He wanted to have the best buy, hence started to bargain the cost of the bouquet. You can not dominate when you are in need of anything. The child had to accept the quotation stated by the man and had sold his bouquet.
Well, this can be a common thing for many but what has pinched my heart was, God had blessed us with similar bounties. He has made no difference. There is no one rich or poor. But we the human being had made different things for our comfort. Things that are there in nature is shared by everyone but things made by man are shared with only those who pay the best amount for the same.
These differences need to be curtailed otherwise get ready for all kind of evil practices that is slowly springing up in the most intelligent specie of the world.
Let us believe in caring and sharing and enjoy the bounties together.

Challenge

Life is certainly another name of Challenge. The uncertainties in life can be faced only when you have confidence and courage. You need to understand situation and then find proper way out to reach to its conclusion. Few situations can be easily handled but other few may strain your nerve and pull you back. It may rather push you into dilemma.
Today I could witness such situation. Though it was not related to my life. I am talking about one of my clients whom I am acting as a Career Adviser. She was suppose to sit for her life's first interview. Just before that she received a call. She broke out and was shedding tears. She lost her granny whom she admired a lot. She wanted to get through the interview and share her happiness with her granny. But God had some other plans.
I knew, my words of condolence can only be heard by her but it would be too tough to enact. It was tough time. But still she sat for the interview. I am not worried about the results, but yes, felt bad. For a moment, I was dejected.
Turmoil in our life acts like a knife to cut and carve our future efficiently.

Be the Savior

When you sleep cozily on your warm bed, covered with a thick quilt, you tend to forget the day long tired journey. The killing cold wind is no more into your vision. Your feel awesome while sipping a hot cup of tea with all good memories. But do remember, there are people on this earth who do not have even proper shelter to cover their head. They sleep under the bridges, fly overs and at uncomfortable places. Some are half naked and half covered. Wind is the same. It pierces into their blood, hitting their health badly. Some are strong to sustain this pain but few they can't combat and meet their death. They live life miserably and die anonymously.
This winter be the savior. Donate your old woolen clothes and be the part of#Humsaffar

To be compatible is not tough

Accreditation and credit acts as morale boosters. Even when you are overloaded with huge load, it adds more value to the assigned job. Every iota gets counted. You start working seriously towards your goal. As objective is well defined, you dream for only those things that can pave way for your success.

I have been working over ages. But even today, I feel I know very less. The things that are known are rapidly increasing than to the things that I am learning and gaining knowledge of. Because of this increase, there is an immense demand for being competitive in the market. Just by being intellectual will not suffice the need of the organization. I need to have something different and extra that can be counted for.

The new blood always boosts my morale. When I see them knowing better, the challenge envies me. I want to combat them and want to prove that the learning instinct is still alive in me. I do learn; reprimand my thoughts for being ignorant. And this is the only process that keeps me alive. Helps me to mingle with different age groups and share my view point.

I believe to be compatible is not tough when you have right actions and appropriate thoughts in your mind.

Attitudinal Change

Last night when I was on my way back to home, I saw some children selling bouquets, roses of different colors and of different sizes. The weather was not at all conducive. The chilly wind pierced in, creating discomfort, even when I had wrapped self with a Shawl. I was thinking about the Children’s Day and its celebration along with the kids of my NGO.

The moment I saw these kids, felt abashed. The kids who were selling bouquets were hardly above twelve years. Dusty legs, murky hands but a sweet tender smile was always there on their face. They ran behind the cars, expecting few to buy their product. When there was no response from the other end, still their smile was alive. A spark could be noticed in their eyes. They knew someone else will surely buy those flowers.

They moved to the next customer, with positive approach. Are these kids not eligible to be the part of today’s celebration? Country where we talk about unity in diversity, country where we speak aloud about sovereignty, why do we ignore and overlook these kids?

I wanted to have answer for my question, but I failed to get a satisfactory response, as everybody feels bad and emotionally hurt but when it comes to taking constructive step, it is for sure, it goes sincerely in vain.

There is a demand of attitudinal change. The change that is not only thought of but also worked over.
