Change to Grow

Next to my house, there is a huge Neem tree (Azadirachta indica). Well when I was a child it was just a sapling that my father had asked to plant on one of my birthday. Due to proper care, the sapling now grew into full fledged wonderful tree. It provides shelter to different birds, insects; often in burning summer season, the hot wind is absorbed and is converted into the blissful cool air. Its shade is used by many. In every season, it stands as a care taker of human society. Though not human, but it is overwhelmed with human qualities. Looking at it, I felt embarrassed. Being a human, I hardly did anything for the society. Though enough qualified, blessed with good health and sufficient wealth, yet my contribution to the society is still meager. May be, the way I think is obsolete. To let new twigs grow, the old leaves shed itself whereas I carry the baggage of unwanted things without creating space for new things to get settled. I restrict my knowledge and skills because of wrong attitude, hence curtailing my growth. Well, the sapling that I have planted went of adjusting itself according to the place and environment, it had crooked and twisted branches; paucity of space did not limit its growth.
I felt when a tree can grow in adverse conditions, then why do the most intelligent being on this earth - HUMAN stops putting its effort in progressing. We keep lamenting and cursing our luck, rather working hard and putting our best - with which we can change our luck!

Change in attitude will certainly help us to grow
