Mr.A is an introvert, good at Finance and Analytic skills, but as he dwells from country side of the beautiful nation named India, he lacks confidence while communicating in English. In all his interviews, he clears the first round as it is aptitude test, the second in some instances, where he is judged on his domain knowledge but had failed many times to clear the group discussion round or personal interview. The reason is very simple, he loses his level of confidence, the moment he is asked to speak in English.
Will he get a job? For how long, he will have to face rejection? To work with a reputed and good organization...stands as his dream. Will this dream will ever turn into fact?
Mr.B, an extrovert by nature, extremely good at academics. He is scared of only one thing, number crunching. His foundation mathematics was not strong. He is great speaker, good at public speaking. His sense of humor is stupendous. People like his company. Unfortunately, he is struggling hard to enter into reputed company. The only hurdle that is stopping him is his quantitative aptitude test, which he finds miserable.
Ms.C still curses her school teacher who never told her the significance of right pronunciation and correct usage of grammar while talking. Her statement which is mocked by Ms.C may be thousand times still rings in my ear clearly - While talking, who bothers about tense and grammar. Does any teacher can say so? Whom should I blame? Teacher or Student...am confused.
Well, the story do not stop here. Teachers treat every child in an equal way. I used to consider this as blessing and thought often about the greatness of teachers in doing so...but now I felt, how thoughtless teachers are. How can every student be treated alike? Is it not the Teacher who needs to identify the latent qualities of very student whom he is teaching to? What about the special need that every child has and that has to be addressed by the teacher...
Along with the examination, the mindset of the teacher needs to get changed. It demands for 360 degree review to help teachers mentor their students with right knowledge. Students with this knowledge can pave their road map which will drive their career path and will allow them to be successful at some point of life without much hue and cry.
Teachers need to get trained...it is the basic demand from every student and an organization
