What gets measured can be managed?

People who feel and think that there are things that cannot be quantified I want to change their perception. Unless you do not quantify things you may fail to understand the significance of the product or person. Be it quality or the emotions, things that you can measure in terms of value, you will certainly pay more heed to it. When I say value, I do not want to restrict it with monetization. It could be something that can help in wholesome growth and development. It can help someone identify their weakness and then overcome the same. The moment you win and shun your weaker areas, you add value to self.
Adding value should be conducive. It should be holistic in approach. It needs to accomplish and satisfy your hunger; your dearth of knowledge is sufficed. You reach to new level and have more clarity in your vision.
Measure it so that you can manage the same. Manage things for betterment, to have browning options and to change for the sake of development. This process should go on to curtail unawareness, to create interest and to look things from different angles. It helps to move with the pace and people. Further increases your competency level too.
Many times we do measure things and try to manage them. In Indian context, I am talking about the relationship that we are bond with. Though there is massive change in the perception of the people, yet their attachment to family, friends and foes remain to be very strong. People do measure their emotional attachment and manage their relationship with zeal, even if their life is in midst of turmoil.
The one who is associated with an organization where he works is another great place where you can find people measuring their relationship and striving hard to manage them. They perform better, compete with their own set targets so that it becomes difficult or next to impossible for others to challenge the person.

Certainly to sustain a competent life with great amount of compatibility you will have to quantify your quality that can be measured and well managed with passage of time. This will certainly turn you as an unbeaten leader.
