Tired, Switch or get FIRED

Working without any growth proves that you are not keen in raising your learning curve.
I have a friend who has joined a well reputed organization after his post graduation at reasonably good pay package. Being the brand, he felt extremely happy, giving jinx to all those unplaced students. Thought that he is truly blessed with great luck! I got placed in one of the so called growing companies with so called good package.
Our struggle for success and development in our career path started with lot many leaps and bounds. Friend of whom I quoted as he got placed at a good position, made him arrogant within our peer group, there was transition in his attitude and transformation in the level of confidence to over-confidence.
Well, after six years, we met each other. The platform was same but the level of learning between us was too wide. He came their to listen to listen to few fast pacing personnel from different industries, handling different verticals. Well, I was one of the speakers.
We felt happy when we met and had exchanged greetings. The joy knew no bound. I introduced him to the other speakers as the best student of my batch and of our institute.
Things went very well, but while retiring my mind questioned, why the good academicians are not the great achievers in the course of life.
One thing that could collate after boggling and brain storming my brain for hours, the moment monotony captivates learning, either intend to bring necessary changes in the process in doing things or do switch to something different, else instead of progressive learning curve, it will be diminishing. No organization wants to have only doer of a job rather they believe to recruit the true performers. And to step up as a performer. you need to change self from time-to-time. Accept the challenges with a belief that it is a new way to learn and create a new path of success.
I realized certain facts:

  1. Package at which you are initially placed matters least.
  2. The way you carry forward your career plays a vital role
  3. Adopt change, be flexible and know when to follow and when to lead
  4. Draw a future plan - ahead
Following these four steps, you can never be tired, will be active and will think of more innovative ideas
