It was a pleasant evening. It was the day full of fun, watching the ramp show organized by one of the colleges in Delhi. There were few students who have recently joined corporate. They were more keen to share about their work pressure, about their boss, their performance, rewards that they have received and so many things. Few who were unplaced, though had a smile on their face, still felt depressed and dejected at their poor performance.
Instead of feeling pity, what I firmly believe is, the students who were still in search of job have never tried to unlock their true potential.
As you are unique and you are different from others, comparing your personality and efficiency with others, should be considered as sheer foolishness. It won't make an iota difference for you.
What these students were not focusing was, to identify their key skills and present the same to the recruiter with passion. It is the right and go-get attitude which brings in difference in life.
When I analyzed, I reached to the conclusion that the teaching and learning methodology is so outdated that you hardly realize your proficiency and area of key interest. There is no such practice applied, to know the latent potentiality of a person.
Though there are many number of assessment techniques, but this is never implemented in schools at the right age, the actual time-period during which the child can adopt and start planning for his future. On the contrary they start too late when it is too difficult to handle the situation.
When the process of regular academics is on the verge of ending, then the person is assessed. The qualities remain untouched or is left in latent form. There is no way left to unlock the potential that you are blessed with.
